Thank you for your interest in K-Camp, kindergarten readiness camp sponsored by United Way of Southwestern Indiana and Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation.

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRCUTIONS AND COMPLETE EACH SECTION

K-Camp is a FREE kindergarten readiness program for children starting kindergarten at an EVSC school in the fall of 2026. K-Camp runs during the summer, June 1st - June 26th (no class June 19th). Times varies by location. Bus transportation is available but not guaranteed.

K-Camp eligibility requirements include the following:
1) Your child MUST be fully potty trained. Teachers are not allowed to assist in restrooms
2) Your child MUST be 5 years old on or before August 1, 2026.
3) Your child MUST be enrolling in an EVSC kindergarten class beginning August of 2026.
4) Parents MUST complete this application, all consent forms and parent survey's


K-Camp offers upcoming students the opportunity to experience kindergarten before school begins. Children will learn the fundamentals of school like following directions, increasing literacy skills, and social and emotional skills all while learning in a fun active environment.

ATTENDANCE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR OF K-CAMP. We want your child to be excited, confident and ready when school begins. It is of the upmost importance that your child attends K-Camp everyday unless sick. This way they are receiving the full benefit of the program.



K-CAMP TIMES AND LOCATIONS:
Delaware – 8:00 am – 12:00 pm (For students who will be enrolling in kindergarten at Delaware or Lincoln)
Evans – 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (For students who will be enrolling in kindergarten at Cedar Hall or Evans)
Fairlawn - 9:00 am - 1:00 pm (For students who will be enrolling in kindergarten at Caze, Dexter, or Fairlawn)
Glenwood - 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (For students who will be enrolling in kindergarten at GLA or Lodge)
Tekoppel - 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (For students who will be enrolling in kindergarten at Tekoppel)
