K-Camp is a FREE kindergarten readiness program that occurs during the summer, from June 2nd - June 27th (off on June 19th). K-Camp is sponsored by United Way of Southwestern Indiana and Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation. Children will learn things like adjusting to a classroom setting, practicing following directions and rules, working on skills such as recognizing shapes, letters, counting, and writing their names. Bus transportation may be provided to and from camp if needed, but is not guaranteed. K-Camp eligibility requirements include the following:1) Your child must be potty trained.2) Your child must be 5 years old on or before August 1, 2025.3) Your child must be entering kindergarten in August of 2025. K-Camp Locations & Times:Caze – 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (For students who will be enrolling in kindergarten at Caze, Dexter, or Fairlawn)Cedar Hall – 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (For students who will be enrolling in kindergarten at Cedar Hall or Evans)Delaware – 8:00 am – 12:00 pm (For students who will be enrolling in kindergarten at Delaware or Lincoln)Glenwood - 8:00 am – 12:00 pm (For students who will be enrolling in kindergarten at GLA or Lodge)Tekoppel -- 8:00 am – 12:00 pm (For students who will be enrolling in kindergarten at Tekoppel or Daniel Wertz)If K-Camp sounds like a good fit for your child, please complete the following application.
